I love creating gifts for people out of the scrapbooking supplies that I have. I created this fun Address Book for my friend. I used only the best collection ever…….Family & Co. The Tag definitely helps get the address book idea across. Plus, I will make sure she knows.
First, I decide to use the This is Me Hard Cover Journal and decided to add a sleeve for it.
I picked a base paper and cut 2 pieces of 4 1/2 inches wide x 12 long. I wrapped one piece around the front of the book and creased on the edges. Then cut down the second piece of 4 1/2 so that when I added it and wrapped it around, you would not see the ends on the front of the book. Then I continued to embellish and layer as much as I wanted!
This can totally be changed for whatever she may want to use the book for. Just because I am forcing her to do Addy’s doesn’t mean she has too. I can slide the sleeve off and she can use it for something else.
Grab any of the Fancy Pants journal books and get to creating sleeves. It is super easy and you can change your mind!
Creating cards with my extra products is pretty fun. Easy way to use up collections that you have already picked apart! Right? For today. I have created two cards. One is bright and whimsical and the other, a little toned down with krafty colors.
Here is a closer look at the flamingo card. I used the Hello Sunshine Collection and it is perfect for my parents who spend the summer out in their camper at camp. Also, it is both of their birthdays this month. So, why not add them both to this card and then she can add it to her cork board as decoration after. I also love how the Hello Sunshine Straw with Swag looks on the card.
Like I said, the other card I made is a little less bright. Hope ever, it is inspirational and beautiful with the Artist Burlap Bow. I used the Dream Big Collection.
This is so fun. You have to give it a try. My envelope base for both cards are the Artist Edition bags.
Hello Everyone! Vicki here to day to share a canvas project I just finished using the Family & Co Collection. This collection has so many fun elements that are perfect for “family” theme projects, or layouts. Also cute ephemera pieces that could easily work for card making. The canvas I choose to make with these sweet photos of my great nieces family was 8×11 size.
This great title piece from the Ephemera Pack was my inspiration.
This set has adorable ephemera pieces! I was laying them all out on my desk, checking out the entire pack when I found this little round frame, I knew it was the perfect way to help me incorporate another smaller photo . I used another larger round frame and a round tag to set up a background for it. I placed some foam tape behind the piece with the photo to make it stand off the canvas.
There is also an amazing sheet of Puffy Heart stickers for this collection. I used one of the arrows, and the pennant tabs, as well as some of the dots as accents on my project.
I used only a blank canvas for the project to get started. After I finished adding all my papers, elements and photos, I finished off the edges of the canvas with some Fancy Pants Designs Washi Tape. I absolutely love how it works around the edge of canvases!
I think a canvas like this would be a great gift for a family. That’s what I plan to do with mine.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have been inspired to want to create!
Hello friends! Today I am sharing a fun back to school craft, that is easy enough for your children to help out. With some children heading back to school, this is the perfect apple to bring to a teacher, without worry of it going bad.
First we are going to need to cut some circles. However you decide to cut them is fine, you can manual die cut them, electronically cut them, or trace a circle onto paper and cut out with scissors. I used the Daydream Believer pattern paper from the Fancy Pants Designs Dream Big collection. For this project 16 3.5inch circles were used, which was almost two sheets of paper. Once the circles are cut out, score them in half.
Since you will want the red side of the pattern paper to show, place adhesive onto the “b” side of the paper.
For a little more depth, and also to cover any white parts of the paper showing, ink the edges of the paper using red ink.
Using the Follow Your Dreams pattern paper, create a stem and leaves. For the stem, I just rolled up a scrap of the paper, and I freehand cut the leaves with scissors.
Attach the stem into the apple and adhere the leaves and die cut from the Dream Big Ephemera set to the stem.
This was so easy to make, and I hope it inspires you to create one too!
