Nicole here to share some fun cards with you using the Sweet Nothings collection! I often forget about some of those tools I have collecting in my scrap space… especially my punches! They seem to be my most neglected tool of late. I grabbed three different punches and decided to use them to make some easy cards with the same basic supplies.
I started with a pretty border punch and punched the edge of a few papers from the Sweet Nothings 6×6 paper pad. I simply adhered the strips to the top of the card front and added some simple tags to add my sentiment. Pretty simple and came together really quickly.
Next, I put one of my small circle punches to work – using the same patterned paper from the Sweet Nothings 6×6 paper pad. I punched several pinked circles and layered two together and simply stitched them down to the card front. I added a little foam adhesive behind the top layer of the stitched circle for just a tad dimension and used the Sweet Nothings enamel letters for my sentiment – BAM! Another quick card done!
My last card didn’t come together quite as easily, but by far it’s my fave! I used my trusty flower punch along with a scallop edge one and layered the punched papers together to make these fun and whimsical flowers. I added some foam adhesive between the layers and, of course, some simple stems stitched down to the front of the card. I just love how fun and easy this one really is. Te dry emboss/scoring on the background took more time for me to worry about than assembling those fun flowers!
I really love how you can pull together a few basic supplies and whip out a few quick cards very simply when it all just works!!
