We are in the mood to splash and splash around here but the weather is not cooperating! The pool is open and the kid has his bathing suit ready. Instead of getting fun photos for this year, I reverted back to last year and a fun day we had with friends at the beach. The Poolside Collection is not just for pools! I have used it for 2 different beach layouts and could keep going!
You can see here that I topped the patterned paper with a FREE cut file from Paper Issues. I used the Wheel from the Seas The Day File. I backed some of the openings with the 6×6 paper pad, but I ended up covering most of that.
If you look close, I used Nuvo clear to add detail to my splashes of water. I used it on all of the water pieces and in the center of the flowers. It may not translate well here, but in real life, it looks super cool.
So, if you don’t have any pool photos, grab out those beach photos and get to documenting!
I have been loving making coordinating cards and envelope sets. Especially by picking out 12×12 and 6×6 paper in the same collection. There are so many different ways to create an envelope now, dies, stencils, punches and scoring tools.
The card was created by adding 6×6 paper, then adding several diecuts from the Ephemera, clipboard stickers and puffy shape stickers. To give the card a little more depth the dies were adhered using foam adhesive.
Hello friends. Steph here again! Back with another super cute mini album. I know. I know… I’m addicted and I can’t help it. I just love them so much!
For this album, I used a mixture of both Bright Side and Pool Side from Fancy Pants. I also used a few papers from some of their previous collections. Mixing collections and designs suites my style of eccentric and eclectic.
I’ve had these photos for about five years now and I’m so happy they worked great in a little mini album! As for the base of this project, I used a 4×4 chipboard album. I covered the front and back with patterned papers and Mod Podge. I also added the mini layouts on top of the page protectors so that my embellishments wouldn’t be mashed.
I hope you enjoyed this mini album! I really love the possibilities you have with small scrapbooking! For more scrapbooking and crafty project ideas visit my blog, Craft His Love and be sure to follow me @craft _His_love on Instagram!
Today I’m sharing another small scrap project. Another fun summer mini-album using the Pool Side collection. I’ve never tried a ring flip book so I thought I would try it this time. And I have to say I love it! And with some fun fringe it’s even better!
I wanted to remind you guys that when I work in a project like this I usually create all the pages at the same time. Like one bigger project and then layer them for an album effect. Projects like these are my favorite because I can literally do them in one sitting. And I like the feeling of accomplishing a project instead of feeling like I can never complete larger albums. Hey they are laid out before I put them together in the album style!
I hope you enjoyed this project! I loved how it turned out. Remember you can always follow me here, on my blog Craft His Love and through social media @craft_his_love! Thanks guys have a wonderful day!
