The Cutest Easter Bunny Cards!

Hi there, my crafty friends!

Today I’m sharing a few Easter cards with you & they are adorable!

I’ve used the bright and colorful Take Note collection to create all of these cards. I just love the colors and patterns in this line! I knew I was not going to use embellishments, so the original theme of the collection didn’t bother me, the papers were perfect! Sometimes themes make you think you won’t be able to use a collection, but that is NOT the case with the Fancy Pants Designs Collections!

I remembered a super adorable cut file the lovely Bea Valint created last year and thought I’d use it on my cards today. I however wanted to make both girl and boy bunnies, so I modified her original cut file to have a boy too (nose and eyelashes are different). I cut all of the bunnies from textured white card stock and for the rest of the card I used patterned papers.

I cut little flowers for the girls (also part of the cut file) and hand cut a couple of hats for the boys. Plus added little bows for neck tie. I stamped my sentiment using a mini alpha stamp set and added some Nuvo drops to finish off these four cards.

I also wanted to make more cards where the bunnies’ ears are hanging off the card. I simply folded a standard A2 size card in half, this way the card still fits in the same sized envelope, but the ears have room to stick out! So cute!

On this set, I also added a piece of patterned paper to my white card base. I cut some grass with the help of a die and layered two on top of each other using some foam adhesive to create some dimension. I backed the bunny ears and faces with patterned paper, then glued them on the card front and decorated them with flowers and a hat like the first set.

For my sentiment I used one of the patterned papers in the Take Note collection that had a fun, bold alphabet & fussy cut the tiny alphas to create the title. So fun and unique!  I added some Nuvo drops and they were done!

Thanks for “hopping” by today~ I hope you love these cards as much as I loved creating them!

Have an awesome day!

Good morning Fancy Pants fans! Nicole back on the blog today to share a fun project using several Fancy Pants Collections!

I used a couple collections on this page and it came together quickly too!

#family full

I cut several triangles from the Take Note, and Joy Parade collections. Mixing in some neutral patterns like the black one from Take Note allowed a little balance to the otherwise busy hexagon shapes on my page.

#family cl1

I placed all my triangles into hexagon groupings and then stitched the whole thing down. I was able to add in a great journaling card from Take Note also and an Atwell binder clip to hold it all together.

#family cl2

I needed some circular elements, so I punched some circles in varying papers and used scissors to make fringed flower elements, and layered it all together with foam adhesive. I added in a few buttons from Wish Season – love that red color and how well it pops with the Take Note floral paper.

It’s really easy to mix different collections when you do it in smaller bits and pieces!

Hi there,

Zsoka here today with a new layout I created for the “out with the old, in with the new” theme at Fancy Pants! Our assignment was to mix new with old supplies. I loved this! I don’t often have the time to create stash layouts but I always love when I have the possibility. They do take longer in general because I have to go trough my stash to see what I can or want to use, but one can achieve a much more unique look!

I’ve used the following collections on this layout:

  • Everyday Circus (patterned paper)
  • Nautical (patterned paper)
  • Spellbound (patterned paper, buttons, die cuts)
  • Timbergrove (patterned paper)
  • Meology (chipboard button)
  • Making waves (alphas)
  • Burlap & Bouquets (flair button)
  • True Friend (flair button)
  • Flutter (button, chipboard)
  • Dream Big (paper clip, die cuts, puffy stickers)
  • Family & Co (label, die cut)
  • Joy Parade (die cuts)
  • Good Fellows (puffy stickers)

The first paper I chose was the teal wood grain paper – isn’t it amazing?! It was like seeing it for the first time! Then I started picking out papers I liked and at some point I had a color combo in my mind what I wanted to go for.

I designed the layout in Silhouette studio, just to see what it would look like. Then I cut all the circles with my Cameo. Of course you can hand cut these using different sized plates as template. I used to do this before I had my Cameo.

I then glued down everything and felt like I have no dimension at all. So I added a few hand stitched circles here and there, for a bit of dimension and texture.

My photo I already cropped in my photo editing program, because I like to have a white border around. I then matted my picture and placed it on some foam adhesive so it stands out more.

At this point I was still just hoping I’d find embellishments that matched my chosen colors! I’m not big on planning ahead haha! Luckily I have quite a big stash of Fancy Pants supplies since it’s been my favorite company ever since I started scrapping! So I dug out everything and to my surprise I’ve found so many things! Even alphas which I really wasn’t expecting. In this alpha pack there are other colors too, red and yellow, so I picked out all colors that fit and tried to come up with a title. Boy, this is what took me longest! I even tried to use one of those scrabble helps where you enter your letters and it gives you suggestions for words. But I had a lot more letters you can enter there so it was no help at all. Eventually I came up with this title. I had to engineer a T because I only had one. I believe I’ve used an R and a 5 to create it.

I then added all kinds of embellies, all over my page: puffy stickers, die cuts, flair buttons, buttons, chipboards…I love how the colors tie all these together!

To finish off the layout I wrote my journaling and stamped my date.

That’s it for today! I hope you are inspired to dive into your old Fancy Pants stash now, because there surely are treasures to be rediscovered! Happy crafting!

Thanks for stopping by today,

Hi scrapping friends, today I wanted to share a layout I created using a few of the Fancy Pants Designs lines combined. Fancy Pants makes it so easy to combine most of their lines by coordinating most of them, and I used Millie and JuneJoy Parade and Hello Sunshine to create my layout.

I am still in love with the handwritten sentiments from the Joy parade line, and it was perfect to add to this layout.

I have been holding on to the corner of this piece of patterned paper forever because I loved the yellow splatters. I was so happy to use it on this page.

I hope this inspires you to mix some of your newer lines with some of the older lines, thanks for visiting the blog.

Hey everyone! Nicole here to share a layout that I created mixing several Fancy Pants Designs collections!

I started with some white cardstock and several papers from the Spellbound collection to layer around my photo. I am trying to make a bit of a commitment this year to scrap more about myself so that I am actually in the albums I create for my family!

Self Love full

I layered several papers from Spellbound to the left side of my page and then added in several cards from Joy Parade to mix in some pops of color! I love the fin different shaped tags and labels in the Joy Parade collection, so I added in a few of those too along with some washi tape from Attwell.

Self Love cl1

I couldn’t resist mixing in the great neutral alpha from the Golden Days collection so I mixed those in along with some of the images from the clear stamps for Golden Days too!

I hope you will give collection mixing a try, you will find that it really is quite simple when you pull out some of your favorite bits from each one! I also encourage you to get in front of the camera and scrap yourself a little more in 2018!

Hello friends! Here we are headed into a brand new year. How exciting!

It’s a great time to create something new, fun and  bright!  I created this 12×12 canvas for my craft room using one older Fancy Pants collection and one of the more recent ones.

One of the things I love about Fancy Pants Collections is that they can often work really will together.  In this case I used ” Joy Parade” and “Beautiful life”.

Both Collections are full of really cheerful happy papers. Bright colors and fun designs.

When this design came to mind I knew there were some great letters and words from each collection that would work well.

The Puffy Script stickers from the Joy Parade collection are just such a a gorgeous font.  I mixed up my title using the “Always” word, as well as the Printed Cork pieces and other Puffy letters.

Always canvas

I’m enjoying having this new projects hanging in my creative space.  These papers just make me happy! So fun and Cheery!

Happy New Year to all of  you!   Don’t forget to mix it up!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
