Hello, Fancy Pants Designs Fans!
Today I am focused on a fun and playful layout with circles! The Poolside Collection is filled with fun summer designs, including tubes, the sun, the letters in POOL… you get the idea…and that’s where I got mine!
This project was actually pretty quick and easy to create since the work was done in the design elements! I added some texture and dimension with a few ‘splatters’ of color and with the puffy dot stickers on the sticker sheet! Beyond that, it was a matter of placing all my circle shapes out to get the feel and balance I wanted!
I cut out a photo in the shape of a circle…a circle punch would be even easier!! All of the elements I used are from the puffy stickers, ephemera and the chipboard stickers! I also snuck in ‘the good stuff’ chipboard sticker from The Bright Side Collection since it matched so well!
This is a quick and easy layout with a super playful look!! I hope you’ll give it a try!Read More
Zsoka back with you today sharing my newest layout I’ve created for Fancy Pants Designs!
I remembered using a specific cut file about 2 or so years ago but for the life of me I could not find it, I have no idea whose design it was. So I just went ahead and made my own in the Silhouette Studio program – it’s basically just triangle shapes arranged in a circle.
I cut this from one of the patterned papers, then backed the rays with different patterned papers from The Bright Side collection. I also added some machine stitching in the middle of the rays.
I created one cluster in the middle of the page, so it is a very simple design. I felt like otherwise the page would have been too busy. I layered tissue paper, tags, die cuts behind my photo and glued these down. I then added different embellies around and on top of my photo: labels, chipboard stickers, die cuts. For some interest I added a die cut photo frame too and my title also comes from the die cut ephemera pack.
To finish off my page I glued down some colourful puffy sticker dots!
I hope you like this simple idea!
Thanks for stopping by today and I wish you a great day!
See you soon!
Mary-Ann here today with a black, yellow with a touch of green layout to share. A yellow T-shirt calls for yellow in the layout, don’t you think? My little man tried and tried to blow up this water balloon. This is about as far as he got. He was defeated and so were his cheeks. I love how the pictures captures his struggle and also his determination to get it done. I think you can see his frustration a little too.
I love the speech bubbles. I used small alphas to incorporate an encouraging message.
I love to layer. Layering this tags helped me bring in all the colors that I was using in the layout over to the left. Using different shapes brought in depth.
A couple little journaling strips, telling the story and my layout was complete!
So you can see from this layout and my previous one, earlier in the month, that The Bright Side Collection can be used for of all types of ideas and projects! What are you using yours for? Be sure to tag us online so we can see!! Instagram: @fancypantsdesigns

Hi there, my crafty friends!
Today I’m sharing a few Easter cards with you & they are adorable!
I’ve used the bright and colorful Take Note collection to create all of these cards. I just love the colors and patterns in this line! I knew I was not going to use embellishments, so the original theme of the collection didn’t bother me, the papers were perfect! Sometimes themes make you think you won’t be able to use a collection, but that is NOT the case with the Fancy Pants Designs Collections!
I remembered a super adorable cut file the lovely Bea Valint created last year and thought I’d use it on my cards today. I however wanted to make both girl and boy bunnies, so I modified her original cut file to have a boy too (nose and eyelashes are different). I cut all of the bunnies from textured white card stock and for the rest of the card I used patterned papers.
I cut little flowers for the girls (also part of the cut file) and hand cut a couple of hats for the boys. Plus added little bows for neck tie. I stamped my sentiment using a mini alpha stamp set and added some Nuvo drops to finish off these four cards.
I also wanted to make more cards where the bunnies’ ears are hanging off the card. I simply folded a standard A2 size card in half, this way the card still fits in the same sized envelope, but the ears have room to stick out! So cute!
On this set, I also added a piece of patterned paper to my white card base. I cut some grass with the help of a die and layered two on top of each other using some foam adhesive to create some dimension. I backed the bunny ears and faces with patterned paper, then glued them on the card front and decorated them with flowers and a hat like the first set.
For my sentiment I used one of the patterned papers in the Take Note collection that had a fun, bold alphabet & fussy cut the tiny alphas to create the title. So fun and unique! I added some Nuvo drops and they were done!
Thanks for “hopping” by today~ I hope you love these cards as much as I loved creating them!
Have an awesome day!
