Today I am going to try to get you to use those Sticky Notes!!! Yes, they do look colorful and fun in our trendy planners, but they can also look amazing on a layout! Challenge yourself to think outside the box. Remember a 12×12 layout is essentially a box! lol.
Remember when I first started designing with Fancy Pants? I mentioned that I scrapbooked real. This, my friends, is as real as it gets. Walks are impossible. I have no control. I try to chose a route with very little hydrants for this reason. She stops and smells everything. Hence, my title! If you can get past the picture let’s look at how I incorporated those gorgeous Attwell Sticky Notes into my layout.
Above you can see my fantastic photo, lol! Past the photo you can see I used the Sticky Notes as paper banners, peeking out from the left near the Flair Badge. Above the photo you will see the Today Sticky. It helps draw your eye down to the photo.
See how I used them as paper, stuck behind and layered?
This is my favorite. I anchored these banner Sticky Notes with black machine stitching. They add character to my white space and create a display of arrows and “good stuff!” I added a few circles of stitching around my speech bubble to help tie it all together.
So, I challenge you to use these gorgeous Sticky Notes! They really can being life and color to all things.
Hello everyone, Latisha here with you. Today I am spotlighting the Puffy Sticker products on this fun layout. What is so great about Puffy Stickers is that whether it’s letters, words, images, or shapes it adds a nice layer of dimension without making a project too bulky. Plus, since they are stickers all you have to do is place them onto a project.
Recently I went on a trip to New Orleans with girlfriends and we were on a mission to find the best beignets. Our conclusion was that Cafe Beignet had the most delicious beignets.
All of the different puffy stickers that I included on this layout are from two different lines: Wish Season and Happy Place. I love that the embellishments of these lines are so versatile. The alphabet stickers are from Wish Season (red and black) and the sentiment, shapes and images are from Happy Place. I absolutely love that heart and camera!
I also used a gorgeous tag from the Tags Pack, and a few labels from the Labels Pack, both from the Happy Place collection.
I love creating pages about food. Eating is such a big part of traveling or going on vacation. I hope this inspires you to create a fun page about food & to use Puffy Stickers on your next creative project!
Hello Fancy Pants Designs fans! Alena here today. This year January was very snowy and cold! One of these days my whole family went sledding. I decided to keep this moment by using the Wish Season collection. In the photo is my beloved husband and son!
The main elements of the layout are the tags.
Also I’ve added lots of puffy stickers. The header is wood veneer chipboard.
Beside the photo I used labels from the Happy Place collection.

Hello Fancy Pants Designs friends! I have to tell you, I’m pretty excited because this the first I’ve gotten to dig into this new collection and I’m in LOVE! Beautiful papers and so many fun new elements. It truly took me to my “Happy Place”. When I spread it all out I was like a kid in a candy store. Once I finished ogling at the goodness and touching everything at least once, I finally got around to working on a layout.
There are MANY options for words for titles and for journaling in this collection, but I wanted to talk with you a bit about the Diction stickers. These single word stickers are great for incorporating into your journaling for interest with you own handwriting, for adding directly to your photo, to tags, cards or for something as simple as adding the date alongside our photo as I did here on my layout.
But, when I saw this supersized hashtag in the Alphabet and Numbers die cut pack the idea for my layout all came together. I wanted to use this selfie my sister, brother in law and I that taken last year on vacation. It’s an Instagram photo so that’s what got my wheels turning with the hashtag and words. There are so many great descriptive words on the sheet to choose from.
I hope you get a chance to create with this collection soon. It’s simply amazing!
With the pretty Wish Season & Happy Place products arriving on the doorsteps of the design team this week…it made sense to post a project using some of the new product. This page using Wish Season, is a fun, multi photo page capturing one of our favorite December traditions, trimming the tree.
Using a combination of the playful Rudolph & Crew, Season to Wish & Favorite Sweater papers, plus x2 of the Brag Cards, I ended up creating some fabulous layers, with an amazing assortment of patterns that although very different, work so well together. The other great thing about this holiday line is that there are plenty of Ephemera, Tags, Countdown Tags to help make embellishing your holiday craft project a cinch. I especially love the *NEW Printed Faux Wood chipboard Pieces. They not only look like wood but are made from a good quality chipboard and look fabulous but they give a super authentic feel to my page too.
The other NEW product line Fancy Pants Designs launched this season, is their puffy stickers. Both mixed shapes & printed sentiments, they are super fun, & great for adding a little dimension to any project. They are the perfect size too, not only for scrapbooking but card making, December Daily albums, mini books & any number of other crafting projects. So be sure to grab some of each design at your nearest store.
A little birdy told me that the Wish Season products should be in your favorite online store early November. There is even better news, you can pre-order to ensure you don’t miss out. These online stores have the products loaded for you to preorder today:
Hello Fancy Pants fans! Christin here. It’s time for another Spotlight and this month I’m spotlighting the Insta-Pack. The Insta-Pack includes cards, frames, kraft pieces, tags, gold cuts and small borders and are perfect both over and in between the layers.
I used a fall image and made a background in fall colors to mix with the Summer Sun collection.
When working with layers, the pieces are perfect to slip in between the layers. I have here used a total of four borders to avoid having straight layers. They soften the page up a little. It’s a little like what the background does.
For the title Love I used the @ from the Flutter collection and just added a flair over it and I added a little kraft corner matching the picture.
The borders are also perfect to add a little extra to longer borders on a page.
