Hey everyone, Nicole here to talk about fussy cutting. Truth is, fussy cutting is one of those techniques that don’t often get too much attention on my pages, but you can really stretch your supplies (and paper stash) by fussy cutting out images for your pages!
I was inspired by the floral paper (Fancy Floral) in the new Life is Beautiful collection for my page.
I started cutting flowers from the top edge of the paper – no flowers were spared. I cut half flowers and even smaller little ones to add in clusters on my page. I added my photo first and then adhered my fussy cut flowers in a row across my page, surrounding my photo.
I used some foam adhesive to pop some of the flowers up and then tape runner to tuck some of the half flowers slightly under my photo or along the edge of my papers to make them appear to be full flowers.
I hope you are inspired to get your scissors moving and fussy cut some of that pretty paper in the Life is Beautiful collection!
