Hello friends!  A diy inspired blog post for you today, on creating
gift boxes using pattern paper!  Lately I have been loving using up
pattern paper, creating bags, envelopes, boxes, tags, banners, etc…
fun and different ways to express my creativity, and using up my
supplies!  Today, I am sharing a few different sized boxes, and how I
decorated them.

If you do a simple search on diy gift boxes, you will find so many
different ways to create a box out of paper.  The internet is amazing!
After creating the box, using pattern paper, tags, ephemera &
chipboard stickers all from The Bright Side collections, I made a tag.
Instead of attaching the tag to a tied ribbon around the box, it was
adhered to the top of the box.

The bigger box was having a hard time staying closed, so tying ribbon
around it worked like a charm.  To embellish, a tag was create and
added to the ribbon.

One of my favorite things about using a collection to create anything
diy, is that it all perfectly coordinates! The cute rain boots paper,
with the cute rain boots die cut ephemera! So cute!  The tag and the
die cut were adhered to the box using foam adhesive, which gives it
dimension.

The next time, you need to wrap a present, consider creating your own
gift box, it really is so easy.  Especially with pretty ephemera designs, online templates,
directions, punches and dies!
