Hello!  Cathy here with you today to share a message board that I created with Fancy Pant’s Everyday Circus collection.  I made this to hang in our entry way and to write little notes to my husband.  This collection is very fitting for our lives… as my husband says that our house is like a circus.  I suppose it is a bit that way with four dogs, a cat, a teenager with friends constantly stopping by and then our son with his two little people that stop by often.  There is always something going on!

I love the little strip on the bottom that’s says “Let’s run away and join the Circus!” It would probably be more peaceful, that’s for sure.

I used just a plain frame from Walmart.  The inside measures 12 3/4 by 12 3/4 inches.  I wanted a 12×12 frame, but of course this is the downside of living in a small town, you can never find what you need. I just had to add a border to the two sides so that it would fit the frame.

I created the chalkboard paper with my Silhouette Cameo and printed it on 8 1/2 by 11 card stock.  After adhering everything, I slipped it back into the frame and started decorating the outside of the frame!  I cut several layers of flowers with the Everyday Circus collection and inked them all with Distress Ink.

I added a few more flowers, some burlap ribbon from my stash and simply just kept layering until I had that look that I wanted.  Lots of little details were added with the Everyday circus buttons, tickets and flair.

I love how it turned out, now to hang it in the entry way and remind ourselves how blessed we are to have this Everyday Circus
