Hi everyone, Laurel here.  I had fun playing with the Kiwi Lane templates.  I, as I am sure many of you, have been using some sort of die cut machine for adding die cuts.   It was fun to get back to basics and use the templates for this fun card.  I didn’t have to worry about what size to make my wavy borders, just trace and cut, positioning them so as to use the least amount of paper.   So easy.  When I received the Sincerely Card Borders, I immediately thought of a wavy sea so I went with that theme to create my card.

I went outside the box a bit and used the Nautical collection to create a Baby Boy themed card.  After cutting and layering the boat I added some stitching for added detail.  I did the same with the layering of the Sincerely Card Borders, stitching for added detail.  One of the layers was stitched then mounted on foam squares for some added dimension.  I also die cut a cloud and then adhered some sequins for interest.

I love to add little clusters of bits and pieces and the tickets along with the anchor button went well with the theme and the letter stickers worked perfectly to create my baby sentiment.
