Good morning! Nicole here today to share with you a Joy Parade project. The Joy Parade collection is so fun and colorful, I couldn’t help but create a fun and bold patterned project with it!
As the colors are quite bold, I used a neutral white cardstock background. I really wanted to use a lot of the various patterns and colors in the collection, so I created a border around my page using 1” strips of paper.
I lined up the corners of my strips so that they met each other to ensure a straight triangle shape in each corner at the end of the process. I made sure to mix in the patterned papers that had a mixture of colors in order to tie all those pretty colors together.
I added some pops of black to tone down the vibrant colors, through adding a die cut title from the Joy Parade ephemera pack, so flair and a few fun epoxy shapes too!
I think the whole thing came together nicely and, although there is a lot of color going on, you can still focus on the photos on the page!
