Hello friends!  With Thanksgiving behind us now, I have nothing but Christmas on my mind. There are always so many things to do to get ready for Christmas and the days seem to fly by, so I like finding ways to make things easy and fun so I can enjoy the holiday season.  Today I’d like to share with you one of the things I’ve done to make my gift wrapping cute and crafty, but quick and handy!

There are so many amazing tags in the Tag Pack in the Merry & Bright collection.  I loved the thought of using them on my gifts this year, and when I took a looked at the Merry & Bright stamp set I was even more excited. There is a TO: and FROM: stamp that is perfect for the backs of these tags and so many really cute stamps to design and accent the tags with.  Many of the tags already have gorgeous designs on them with words in pretty fonts… but it’s always fun to use the other stamps to add a little bit more embellishment.   Below I’ll show you what I did with the tags and stamps and how also created a fun little jar to store them in. The jar helps keep them all together, ready to use and also doubles as cute Christmas decor.

As you can see, there are a lot of tags in the tag pack. These are just a few. I stamped on the fronts and backs of some and on some only on the backs with the “To:” and “From:”.

This stamp is a keeper! I will be using this for many years.

To and From Tag stamp

There are so many fun things you can do with these adorable stamps from the 5×7 inch stamp set.  You can stamp with plain black ink and it looks great, but I love using gold or silver glitter pens to accent the ink for a little extra sparkle.  You can also use colored ink for stamping, adding pen accents if you want. You can stamp directly on the tag or stamp on a separate (different colored) paper and cut it out to be added to your project. You can stamp and use embossing powder for some dimension or just use some Dimensional Highlights, Diamond Glaze, or Stickles to add some additional accent to your stamped sentiments.

It’s a bit hard to see the sparkle the glitter pens add to the stamped words in the photo but it really looks pretty.

Now for a fun little jar to hold all my tags for handy use when I need need to do more wrapping…  and add another gift under the tree. 😊

I have been seeing a crafty little video floating around showing how you can take a half a plastic ornament and add it to the top of a jar to make a cute little snow globe looking topper.  The sweet little matching Bottle Brush Trees from Fancy Pants work perfectly under the dome.  The Plaid Washi Tape was so much easier than ribbon to use to cover the metal ring of the jar. It was the perfect width and so easy to use.

Tag Jar

So now I have an adorable little jar of tags just waiting to be used!

Now I’m all set for some serious wrapping, with cute tags for all my packages.

I hope you leave here today with some stamping and creating inspiration. The holiday are the most fun time for crafting! Enjoy!
