Just me again with a fun little “bloom” project I came up with!
We have these adorable ceramic boots in our shop that match The Bright Side Collection SO PERFECTLY and I thought for the spring shower season that I would make a bloom of paper flowers for one & I’m so happy with how it turned out!
To create the “bloom” I used a green popsicle stick as my base {you could just paint one to match.. the key is that it is hiding in the boot anyway}! Get a good idea of where you want your first flower to start by putting the popsicle stick in the boot so you know how high the flowers need to be… I made mine so that the flowers angled out of the boot naturally, but didn’t stop it from sitting nicely in place!
I layered my flowers until I got the right look and then added both regular and dimensional adhesives for a ‘real’ bouquet look! Oh, and I added the kite for a little fun flair!!
A little closer look at the details!
I put it on my desk next to the layout I shared earlier in the month of my little guy sharing his own gathered bouquet with me…they looked perfect together and made the perfect spring decor for my desk area!
Thanks for doing us today! I hope you’ve got some new ideas “blooming” in your head ;)!
xoxo
