Hey friends! Stephanie here, I’m back today to share a double page spread from my 6×8 summer adventure album. A couple of years ago I put together a summer album and was recently looking back through it and decided to do it again.
This album begins in May (since that’s when our summer officially starts) and goes through August.
It’s in a Project Life 6×8 Album and includes all the photos from pool days, outside adventures, summer playgroup, late night movies, etc. I also like to include fun pieces of memorabilia from our summer travels; popcorn buckets, movie stubs, flowers from the yard, drawings, etc.
This page is one of the first pages from May and was created using a mix of the Pool Side and Bright Side collections from Fancy Pants Designs.
I created the title, “SUMMER” using an easy cut file and my Silhouette Portrait. I’ve included the cut file if you’re interested in using it. You can download it by clicking on the link!
I simply cut the word out on white card stock and then fussy cut the pieces of patterned paper to fit behind the white outline of each letter.
I also used pieces from the ephemera packs to add a little more details to the 4×6 photos.
I’m having so much fun creating this album. I’m sharing the rest of the album and my process over at my blog, Craft His Love. Join me there and on Instagram for more inspiration!
Cheers,
Stephanie
Thanks for this inspiration Stephanie – I usually do PL every year but for various reasons never got started this year. I am missing it and this has given me the inclination to document our Summer XXX
