Good morning Fancy Pants fans! I am here today to share a few cards in the spirit of all things thankful this week!

Thank you card st 1

I used the Take Note collection for all three cards, and as you can see, each has a different feel to them! You can create simple and pretty cards with just a few simple items. I grabbed my Take Note 6×6 paper pad, some distress inks and the Ephemera pack from Take Note too!

Thank you card set

For each card, I used some distress inks to add color to the white cardstock base. The first card I created with a red/pink color and it went well with the pretty pink/red patterned paper in the collection. I used some bits of paper and half a floral ephemera cluster to add to the card front.

On all the cards, I also used the same Fancy Pants stamp set from the Take Note collection. I added some simple red x stamped images along the stitched border on the card front.

Next, I created a card with a much different color scheme – but from the same Take Note collection!  I just love that bright yellow striped paper, and used it along the bottom edge of this card.

Thank you card 2

Those same stamped X’s appear in this card as well around my sentiment from the Joy Parade cork shapes, and I finished this one off with a little gold glitter washi from Millie & June as well black washi from the Attwell Collection

For this last card, I stuck to the Take Note color scheme to complete this card, pulling out the blues for this one

Thank you card 3

Once I had added a little blue ink to my cardstock base, I went with that pretty navy floral paper – pretty much in love with that one.  I added some simple layers of vellum, patterned paper, a label tab and another flower ephemera piece with a few buttons. LOVE buttons.

It is always a great idea to have a few thank you cards sitting around and when they come out clean and simple it is even better right! Plus, it doesnt hurt to burn through a few items in your stash right!?
