Good morning Fancy Pants Designs friends!

Nicole here today to share an unusual project for me… a travellers notebook. I love the look of these journaling style of books, but honestly, I like the chunky look too much and thought I would never embrace the whole concept. Well, I changed my mind when I saw how adorable these notebooks really are!

I grabbed this one from the Dream Big collection and added a simple diecut title from the Family & Co. collection for the cover of my album. The idea is for me to have a place to add in all those little extra photos that I seem to collect throughout the year. I plan to add photos to spreads throughout the year as I have extra lying around.

I made the heart spread with some little squares of paper I had cut and leftover from another project. I simply added them in a heart like pattern, added some diecuts and then doodled in a sketchy heart shape over top.

For my other spreads, I started to add in those extra photos that I mentioned earlier. I added in more diecuts and tags all from the Family & Co. collection.

I love the little pocket style of this album and made a pocket to one side using part of a 6×6 paper pad sheet of paper and added my adhesive around the outer edges only. I can tuck in some memorabilia, tags or even a note about what happened in the photos.

I added in a photo of myself, I am part of the family after all right!? I hope you will give these Traveller’s notebook a try! Super easy to create with and tons of fun!
